Friday, March 24, Indiana Legion Post 360 helped deliver a generous donation to Helping Veterans and Families of Indiana (HVAF). The post was able to provide $1,500 worth of food through a grant from Operation Comfort Warrior (OCW). The donation was part of an ongoing mission to provide resources and support to veterans in need.
"Thank you so much for the wonderful donation." Said Andrea Carlile, Community Engagement Coordinator for HVAF of Indiana, "Donation's are always helpful, they help us serve veterans and their families around the area."
The mission of Operation Comfort Warrior is to ensure that no wounded veteran faces a financial hardship as a result of their service. OCW provides grants to organizations that support wounded veterans. To donate to OCW, visit legion.org/operationcomfortwarriors.
