Indiana Legion Opposes SB 279

Indiana Legion needs your assistance in opposing Senate Bill 279. SB 279 “Provides that a member of the Indiana national guard may not demand trial by court-martial in lieu of nonjudicial punishment.” The American Legion, Department of Indiana's stance is that we believe all service members deserve a fair trial if requested. This part of the bill stands in stark contrast to our convictions and actively hurts our National Guardsmen.
