Indiana Legion Opposes SB 279

Indiana Legion needs your assistance in opposing Senate Bill 279. SB 279 “Provides that a member of the Indiana national guard may not demand trial by court-martial in lieu of nonjudicial punishment.” The American Legion, Department of Indiana's stance is that we believe all service members deserve a fair trial if requested. This part of the bill stands in stark contrast to our convictions and actively hurts our National Guardsmen. Please make your voice and opinions heard by contacting your state senators today and let them know that we stand with our guardsmen and oppose SB 279.
