Indiana Legion Expresses Concern About HB 1635

Indiana Legion expresses our concern about Indiana House Bill 1635, questioning what repercussions may befall students who complete their pathway, yet are ineligible for military service. Secondly, is an administrative discharge going to disqualify the student of their diploma or cause it to be rescinded? These are issues that need to be addressed before we can support the bill. “We are concerned that if a student passes the ASVAB but is later deemed ineligible to serve, they will be left without any options to gain graduation pathway credit.” says Indiana Legion Legislative Chairperson Mark Gullion.
