Hoosier Boys State 2022 Registration

Updated: Apr 13, 2022

Is your son, grandson, nephew or neighbor a current high school junior? Are they interested in meeting their peers from across the state of Indiana, competing for up to $13,000.00 in scholarships for college, learning more about colleges and universities across the region or learning more about careers in the military and law enforcement?

Up to $13,000 in scholarships

Encourage them to apply at http://hoosierboysstate.org/application-page/ for Hoosier Boys State at Trine University in Angola, Indiana from June 12th to June 18th, 2022. They can be part of the proud tradition of Boys State and follow in the footsteps of other Boys State alumni, such as Michael Jordan, Richard Lugar, Mitch Daniels, Bill Clinton, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, and Neil Armstrong.

This "Week to Shape a Lifetime" is unlike your typical learning experience or summer camp. The last day to enroll is Saturday, May 28, 2022.

Five Reasons to Attend Hoosier Boys State

1. You will meet Indiana's emerging leaders and many new friends.

While you may arrive at Trine University without knowing anyone, you will build friendships to last a lifetime.

2. You will become part of the Boys State community and tradition.

Since 1937, more than 40,000 young men have participated in Hoosier Boys State. You will become a part of this proud tradition and follow in the footsteps of other Boys State alumni, such as Michael Jordan, Richard Lugar, Mitch Daniels, Bill Clinton, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, and Neil Armstrong.

3. Hoosier Boys State will help you achieve your future goals.

Colleges and universities, military academies, and future employers view Hoosier Boys State graduates as strong leaders and dedicated young men. Graduates are also eligible for up to $13,000 in scholarships.

4. There's something for everyone at Hoosier Boys State.

Whether you are excited to run for Governor, to win a recreational sports championship for your county, to play in the band, compete in the Talent Show or to take part in our Special Schools classes and special discussions, you will certainly find many parts of the program that align with your interests and passions.

5. Hoosier Boys State is an experience unlike any other.

The best teacher is often experience. Learning leadership in the classroom is often too theoretical. Boys State is a practical opportunity to learn leadership skills through role play civic exercise. Alumni from Boys State and Boys Nation have gone on to attend some of the most prestigious universities across the country. Many continue to make a difference in their communities as leaders in education, business, law, the military, and elected office. No matter what one decides to make of his life, the Boys State experience will inspire life-long service, strength of character, and moral courage.
