$388M reasons Indiana Service Officers rock

Updated: Aug 5, 2021

Veterans with American Legion Department of Indiana representation during fiscal year 2020 received a total of over $388M in compensation, pension, and death benefits.

Veterans with representation, on the average, receive approximately 34% more in benefits than veterans without representation. This would mean that veterans the Indiana Legion represented in 2020 received nearly $132M more than they would have without representation.

Indiana Legion veteran service officers work hard to get you the benefits you have earned. It's why over 5,100 new claimant’s (veterans and their survivors) assigned The American Legion as their VA representative in Indiana during fiscal year 2020.
