Associate Veterans Service Officer

Job Description:

Veterans Service Officers provide dedicated support and assistance to military veterans and their spouses. They serve as a knowledgeable advocate, helping veterans navigate the complex web of government benefits available to them. This role is integral in ensuring that veterans receive what they rightfully deserve for their service to the nation.

Job Requirements:

  • Honorably discharged veteran anytime after December 7, 1941; military retiree preferred  

 

  • Associates degree, (legal or medical major preferred), or equivalent experience or professional accomplishments

 

  • ​Good oral and written communication skills; general typing; good people skills; occasional light lifting; general computer skills (Excel experience a plus), dependability
